Because ponies are delicious

That’s Penelope Rex talking, not me.  Thank goodness, it wasn’t unicorns.

First days of school are nerve-racking for everyone, but can it go any worse than Penelope’s first day?  That whole eating-the-other-students thing – can we just forget it?

I can’t wait to read this to kindergartners.  Their first days will look like a trip to Disneyland after this.  Funny, surprising, quirky, happy ending.  It’s all there.
