Ear flaps, permissive parents, yeti pilgrimages

henry and the yetisSome years ago, I came home to a note on the table.  “Gone to Machu Picchu.  Goodbye forever.”

So you can see why I might like a book about a boy who believes in yetis and decides to take off to find proof.  His dad says things like “Remember NO staying up late” and off Henry goes — across the ocean, up mountains, in search of yeti friends, always keeping to a reasonable bedtime.  There are adventures and mistakes, but by the end, Henry will still love yetis.  Yes, he will.
