Amy lives on a space colony until her dad loses his job, so they have to be sent back to Earth, which means being cryogenically frozen for thirty years. That’s kind of a drag, right?
So you wake up on Earth, and your best friend is in her forties, and you have to figure a world and society which has very much marched on without you. This takes the moving-to-a-new-town-and-creating-a-new-you plot device to a whole different level.
It’s quirky and fun, although the happy ending seemed kind of bittersweet. It’s wonderful to see so many great graphic novels/comics for young and middle grade readers. More! More! More!
