Maple and Willow are sisters in search of the perfect tree. They find it – or at least they think they do – and it’s a beauty. There’s just one problem. Maple is allergic. The illustrations are cheerful, bright and detailed, and the characters are sweet. Personally, I want their jammies.
It reminds me a little of Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree, a favorite from my childhood which continues to delight me these many years later. Find a copy if you’ve never seen it – it’s a classic – and super fun to read with younger kids.
